Rainbows of words,
Beautiful imaginings,
His life of ethereal fantasy.
I miss my dad
And our easy laughter
Echoing like bronze bells.
When we are together,
Our humour bubbles over
Like a fountain of glittering diamond.
I miss my dad
The dreamer,
Part of the one percent
That doesn't fit but does care.
I know I can still see him
But sometimes
Just sometimes
I miss my wonderful dreamer
Bringer of smiling rainbows,
With laughter like bronze bells.
